Weather Alert: Dust, Rain, and Hail Expected Across Several Regions in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, February 14, 2025 (SAUDI ARABIA BREAKING NEWS) – The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather alert for Riyadh, Qassim, Madinah, Makkah, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, Hail, and the Eastern region, warning of dust-stirring winds, with possible rain and hail showers. Fog formation is also expected in these areas, potentially reducing visibility.

Over the Red Sea, northwesterly to northerly winds will reach 18-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, while southwesterly to southeasterly winds will reach 12-32 km/h in the south. Waves may range from one to over two meters, making the sea relatively calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, northerly to northwesterly winds are expected at 12-45 km/h, with waves reaching over two meters, causing calm to choppy sea conditions.

Residents are advised to exercise caution, particularly on the roads, due to possible reduced visibility and changing weather conditions.
