Weather Alert: Dust, Rain, and Hail Expected in Several Regions of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, October 11, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather alert for parts of Saudi Arabia, forecasting dust-stirring winds and moderate to heavy rain accompanied by hail in Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah. Additionally, gusty winds and cloud formation are expected in parts of the Eastern Region, with fog likely to develop there and in Tabuk.

Winds over the Red Sea will range from northerly to northwesterly at 15-40 km/h in the north and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at 10-50 km/h in the south, with waves reaching over two meters. In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to shift from southeasterly to southwesterly in the north and central parts and northwesterly to westerly in the south, with similar wave heights.

The public is advised to stay alert to changing weather conditions and exercise caution, particularly in affected areas.
