Weather Alert: Dust-Stirring Winds, Rain, and Hail Expected in Northern Regions – NCM

Riyadh, April 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert for parts of the Kingdom, forecasting dust-stirring winds, rainfall, and possible hail in areas of Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and the Northern Borders regions.

Over the Red Sea, southwesterly to southeasterly winds are expected to blow at speeds ranging from 15 to 45 km/h in both the northern and southern sectors. Wave heights may range from 0.5 to over 2 meters, with sea conditions varying from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at 12–30 km/h. Wave heights are forecasted to reach between 0.5 and 1 meter, with generally calm sea conditions.

The NCM urges residents and maritime operators to take necessary precautions.
