Weather Alert: Thunderstorms, Rain, and Gusty Winds Expected in Parts of Saudi Arabia

February 3, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The National Center for Meteorology forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with thunderstorms and rain, accompanied by gusty winds, in parts of Jazan, Aseer, and Al-Baha. Fog formation is also expected in these areas, reducing visibility.
Dust-stirring winds will affect Makkah, Madinah, and Tabuk, potentially impacting travel conditions.
Marine Conditions:
Red Sea: Northeasterly to northwesterly winds at 15-35 km/h in the north and center, and southwesterly to southeasterly winds reaching 12-45 km/h in the south. Waves may range from 0.5 to over 2 meters, with relatively choppy conditions.
Arabian Gulf: Northwesterly winds at 18-38 km/h, with waves ranging from 1 to 2 meters, making the sea relatively calm to choppy.
